Khadija Zakari Yau

Hello, I'm Khadija Zakari Yau (EVT, RN). Khadija is a Chief Product Officer and Customer Success Associate at Kabocash Technologies Group. In the role, Khadija is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the products and services we bring to our core markets and ensuring the customer's satisfaction, in order to deliver on our mission of providing the most trusted and accessible financial services for people living in Africa and beyond.

Khadija is an experienced African entrepreneur based in Kano, having been involved in numerous businesses across multiple markets within the state and having an extensive knowledge around the Payment and Remittances industry and indeed mobile money aggregation. As a product manager, Khadija is responsible for managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products.

Khadija had attended the Primary basic education for primary leaving certificate, therefore Khadija proceeded to Government Girls Arabic Senior Secondary School T/Wada for SSCE. However, she proceeded to Emirate College of Health Sciences and Technology where she obtained a Diploma in Environmental Health Technology and Kano State College of Nursing where she obtained a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery.
